That scoop is from the "Big Block" hood for 1967 only Corvette. Nickey DID use it on thier 1st gen Camaros but it was only availble on the BB Corvette in 1967 from Chevrolet.
While it did come on top of the L-88 in 1967 (because it was a big block and they only made 20 L-88s in 1967) it is not an L-88 scoop. The L-88 designated hoodscoop is the scoop that came on the 68 & 69 L-88 Corvettes (68 in 1968 and 115 in 1969), which is different from the BB hood in those years. (trust me, I know, I have owned several)
Also, The term "Stinger" refers to the stripe, not the hood.

I am looking forward to what the aftermarket comes out with for these cars. I'm guessing we'll see an explosion of goodies available shortly after release.

Even though the hood style is similar to the '67 Vettes, I think it also has some great similarities to the 4th gen SS hood scoop.

They are making this car or at least something close to it. I saw a link a few weeks ago about it. They are going to be doing a couple different stages with like the stage three costing around $100k I had heard. It does look badass but idk about $100k for a 5th gen, even with a LS9 in it like they are possibly talking about.

damn if they looked like that id look past the fact they weigh 4000 lbs and buy one.
GM definately should make the ZL1 again and this year would be the time being a 40th anniversary.
