They wont beat them but they will get pretty close. It will be a drivers race. the fastest stock time for a terminator was 12.4@114. And Z06 vettes are faster stock for stock no doubt. but with 300-400 dollars in mods on the cobra...look out.

We are spoiled a bit I think... Mustang guys would get a hard on if their stock cars could dyno that..

But that 12.4 was with Evan Smith driving....the same guy that ran 12.8 in a '98 Z28. I wonder what he can pull in a new SS? 12.5? 12.6?

Welcome to 2003.
Those are EXACTLY the same numbers stock Terminators put down...Actually that was about average for those cars.
My brother's car put down 365/347 bone stock before his 1st oil change.

With the new government standards for MPG feel lucky that GM even produced this car, in a few years we may not see these kind of stock numbers.

I was incorrect..I meant 374..
I was going from memory..It's been a few years.
& the stock RWHP of his Cobra was 368.
365 was the power I was making with an LS6 intake,Mac mids/Flowmaster cat back,& an '01 LS6 cam back in 2002.

Nice. But dyno numbers mean nothing when comparing cars unless it was the same dyno on the same day with the same calibration.

Ive been looking and have seen stock rwhp numbers for the cobra between 340-390whp depending on dyno.

So it looks like both cars put out similar numbers. Cobra 200 pounds lighter. Likely it is a slightly faster car stock for stock.

And you know what...I dont care.

Also, what does 365whp on a modded car on a different dyno (maybe) on surely a different day have to do with these stock numbers?

Nothing, I suppose..Just a coincidence compared to the stock numbers of the new Camaro.

My Cobra was one of the "faster" stock ones and I ran 12.6 with it. I will bet money that I could match that in a new Camaro.
