L99 Cam Swap ?

L99 Cam Swap ?
I am looking at buying the 2SS with AUTO and have questions for anyone with knowledge on the L99 engine. Current Cam Specs are:
Lift: 500Int/492Exh
Dur: 195Int/201exh @ .050
Because of the reduced compression and smaller cam than the LS3 I am looking at changing the cam with a GMPP (general motors performance part)
So that brings me to a few questions:
Being that it is a GMPP will that void the Manuf. warranty of 100K if the dealer installs it?
Can I leave the AFM intact?
What is the max lift with 1:7 rockers and the 68CC heads?
Can I use the same lifters?
Do I need to do anything with the computer?

This has been asked before, but I don't remember what the answer was. I could be so wrong, but I think it still voids the warranty even when installed by a dealer. Could be wrong.
If you cam it at all, you'll need a computer tune. That, you can get away with.
Its not the lifters, but the valve springs you will be concerned with after a cam swap. If you're worried about piston-to-valve clearance (PVC), I dont think GM would make a cam where that would be an issue.
Don't really know the answer to any of your questions, really.

Comp Cams makes a cam phaser kit to work with the L99's VVT.
It is 100% possible to keep AFM with a cam upgrade.
