Wtf gm?!?! you were given the perfect opportunity here and you botched it bigtime. why does the 2009 indy 500 pace car look like this?

I'll bet GM didn't have alot of say in the design of the pace car. The Indianapolis motor speedway has a long history of doing things their own way. The logo on the door was revealed long before the car was chosen, so the car has to match the logo.
I'll bet GM threw up in it's mouth a little when the speedway said they wanted this as the '98 pace car...

Did they forget they had to make the Indy version look special and just stop at Autozone and threw some decals on it?

I have heard that GM already filed for bankruptcy last week from a GM employee. The future is uncertain

imo the yellow and purple vette dosent look all that bad.

They have one for sell over here in my town and it's been there for a long time. They had it at the front door forever and finally moved it to the back in the gravel! IMO where it belongs. I too agree they are hideous.
Def. not to my liking, Have a poster of that same 69 pace car on my wall, looks much better imo. *shrug* oh well.
