its a gorgeous looking car, especially the interior, but at the sticker price, I'll take a one or two year old used modded Corvette for the same cost if not less. I will keep an eye on these cars though to see how they sell a couple of years used and how they keep their value.

The body kit does nothing for me, infact for 44K I would step into a used C6 Vette or a GT500. Sat in a new camaro today at a camaro dealer launch, interior is decent with the exception of the ugly *** speedo and tach. All in all, the car just doesnt grab my burning desire like past Camaros. Not that I would buy a V6 but one of them with most options and RS minus moonroof was over 29grand-over priced if ya ask me. Everyone has their own opinion, if ya like it and want to pay window sticker all the power to ya. I wish I could say otherwise but I don't see the new Camaro selling all that well after the initial excitement drops come fall.

you guys can thank the unions for the price tags....that $44K should be more around $30K, but some people need $35-$45/hr to sit on a padded stool and push buttons. i gotta make half that welding up powerplants so i can afford 10-year-old cars....
i'll have to go back up there and see the one with stripes....i finally found some pictures floating around of a 2SS in Inferno Orange with black stripes...it looked killer.

I like it and I think they did a good job with it. But I agree with the others that said they would buy a C6 for slightly more money, even though it has upgrades. If the Corvette weren't an option it would be different but since it is that is what I would buy in that price range.

Definitely love the car, saw one in person finally. I would take the Camaro over the Vette any day of the week, but i am a hotrodder, so this is why i love the Camaro, a Vette has never really impressed me, it just reminds me of Chevy's attempt to make a european sports car and does not have that american muscle look. Give me the Camaro over Vette any time, even if they are a little high in price, they will come down, and in my opinion the Camaro will save Chevy, sales will be through the roof.

The ground effects look ok on the black car but the dealership I work at got a red one with that dark gray color ground effects and it looks BAD. It did have the hockey stripes and that looked good. Not a fan of the ground effects but need to be color matched.
