I would pay MSRP. The stealerships here in OKC are marking them up a **** ton, I think the v6 had a $10k mark up. Anyway, I'd fly home to my dad's dealership in Western Michigan and buy from them. They're not marking them up at all, not just for me, for anybody.

That's a good deal.
I literally laughed out loud when I saw the $50k price tag on the SS. I asked the salesman (young kid) why would they price it so high when for not much more I could have that (pointing to a new C6 right next to it)? He simply shrugged his shoulders and said "I know".

I went to a dealership here in fl to see the two camaros they were suppose to recieve. The camaros didn't make it but they had a ZR1 that showed an MSRP of $118,000 and then had a dealer add-on of $40 K. $158,000 for a ZR1. No wonder GM and the dealers are in deep ****. My .o2

I would pay a million, seriously the dealers will wise up and sell them for what they are supposed too when people stop paying the outrageous prices for them. The car is terrific though, and a hell of alot better then a 13.5 car unless you can't drive worth a **** which i am sure will be the case for some!

I recently revisited the dealer I originally posted about and the $50k+ MSRP markup in still on the 2SS. It hasn't sold, there is no additional stock BUT, they decided to auction it off now instead. So far the highest bid is for $46k!!
To the highest bidder: When your neighbor rolls by in a brand new 2SS/RS and paid less than $37k you will be screaming

I'll just buy one used in a few years. I will look for a one owner car with the options I want and will eventually find one, and the bugs should be worked out of them by then too.
It can happen, I got my 94 Z28 in 2004, and it was a one owner, guy even kept a log at what mileage he got gas for the 10 years he owned it and when he did maintenance.
They will be out there, I will have patience.
