NEW!!! 2010 SLP Camaro ZL550 and ZL575
#24
I definately like the Z28 style hood and the spoiler. I'm not feelin the filling of the mail slot, I would rather it be finished with body filler so it looks like it was never there or replaced with a V6 front fascia. I like it overall though. Good job on the design and I hope SLP will be selling individual pieces like they did with the 4th gens.

The car looks good, I just think it would look better with a different style front bumper and side skirts

Sorry if I'm too critical.
Don't like that they use a filler at all. Regardless if the final product will have better "fit and finish" (coming from SLP doesn't mean much, remember the hawk hood debacle?) I think they should have a one off fascia created for the car. Really make is stand out from the other Camaro's.
The hood was a good idea but could be better. The upper lip of the scoop is going straight across the hood causing it not to flow with the front end. The scoop itself should be inset more and the upper area curved to match to the front. More like what was on the Transformers 2 car.
It doesn't need so many badge changes either.
And that cheesy tail light blackout has to go. If your gonna do it, please do it right and cover the entire area including around the tail lights and the up angle part of the bumper directly under the tail lights.
The spoiler....well had to get something right.
I hope SLP sells all 250 of these badboys cause I would love to see one in person and see how it really is.

I wouldn't be satisfied with that mail slot filler at all until there was no way to tell it was there. I agree it would've been much better to create a whole new fascia to differenciate from other Camaros as well as take care of the mail slot the right way. Also not really liking the Berger that much on these cars but it looks especially bad with the stripes on there too. Nice car, I cant wait to see one on the street. Even more so I cant wait to race one, but its definatly not my style.
If I did get one, i'd debadge it real quick, and call it a Z28. I dont really care for that name or all those badges everywhere. It would'nt stay at 575hp for long anyway.

The thing that keeps me from really wanting one of these new Camaros is that even though this one is lowered, it still dosnt look like it AND it has ******* huge dubs on it! I want 17s or 18s dammit! I can get over the wieght compared to my 4th gen but I just cant stand the fact you have to roll on "dubs" to keep it from looking like a 4x4. Its ridiculous Chevy thought 21" wheels AND huge fender gap looks good on a Camaro. Sombody should make new fenders with lower arches for these cars.

ZL427 or 454. It's $6500 for 30 hp.
Or...back half exhaust, cold air kit, PCM tune, underdrive pulley, spoiler, wheels / tires, some badge knick-nacks.
If I want a hood, I have to drop another $3000. And if I want stripes, another $1000.
So, for $10,000+ I get a humble 30 hp increase and some bling. Are you people smoking opium?
