What I'm getting from this is skip the heads and just run a cam with 2" long tubes.

What was the the Time and Trap speed in the 1/4 mile? I could give a **** about the Dyno numbers. I'm looking for a Head and Cam combo for an L99 DOD delete and I want to go fast.

What was the specs on the cam? Whats the CC flow through the head?

i just reread the post... the title is misleading... it says heads/cam package... i thought the car had ported heads also... i take back what i said, 105hp is good for just a cam/boltons... and a fairly mild cam at that... equivalent to a 224/230 on an LS1...

It does. You actually had it right the first time.

We never performed quarter mile testing.

You have another thread with a 5th gen Camaro that was 10.83 @ 128mph I think. It looked like you could get a little more out of it.

How close are these two. I know the cam was a little more aggressive on the timed car.

They both look good. To bad no time, even if you had to let him borrow some tires it would have been nice to know.

Actually no, they don't LOL.
I believe you are mixing up some company names here a little bit.

Cartek is the one with the 10.8 at 128mph/129mph car:

Katech is the one in the thread that we're in right now.

I figured it out. I PM'ed Jason and asked him if he wanted me to remove the post but he had too many messages stored and it wouldn't go through.

Sorry for the mix up

Cartek / Katech They must be cousins

Not for a street car. It's optional if you want it. It adds $184.
