Has anyone broken an LSA crankshaft?
Thinking about using the LSA crankshaft for my next build. Its forged. It has a keyway. The price is nice.
Will be running a cog driven F1A procharger using the 2010 camaro cog race kit. Concerned about snapping the snout of the crankshaft.
So, for piece of mind, are there any reports of anyone snapping off the snout of an LSA crank? Or breaking one of these cranks at all? Any obvious reason to choose an aftermarket crank over an LSA?
P.S. I have already talked to McLeod about the clutch setup I need for the 8 bolt crank flange, so that isn't an issue.

ask on yellow bullet, that's where all the real builds and hp are.
Cliffs: 4340, cheap forging, 8 bolt flange is stupid.
