I dont like it the car as a whole reminds me of a chrysler 300c and the sides remend me of a mustang. Someone probably made this up in a 3d program and sent it out.

That is definitely a shortened version of the CTS-V platform. The floorpan and suspension is identical. Makes sense, really. The CTS has already been proven to accept the LSX/M6 combo and in the V trim, it almost hangs with a C5 in the corners. A re-skin is much quicker then starting from scratch. The only problem is drag racing it. Wheelhop and weak differentials are notorious with this platform. The new STS-V diff is supposed to be much stronger and would most likely be used in this version. Either way, it's nice to see something is in the works!

you know i'm still looking at the pic, and it's hard to believe that it would be photoshopped. whoever did it made the front fascia look very real. Even though it's split with two different looks in the front, you can see how the lower-hanging driver's side continues under the car, either they put a lot of time and thought into the photoshop or it is a real pic.

My vote is that it's the real GM full size clay model and not a photoshop experiment. We'll see in January if I'm right.

Note the Cowl Induction hood, too!! Egg-crate grill from the '69. I dig the rims, too.

IRS, not good. Would like to see solid axle. True duals look great. Granted its just a clay model, but what sizes wheels do they look like?

Same location as the Nomad, but the Nomad has snow all over in the background, this was taken during an entirely different season (notice all the leaves on the trees compared to the leave-less trees in the nomad pic)

Very nice. I'm on board, that'll be my next car if they don't **** it up

That car is beautiful. Interior is just a drawing, I'm sure they'll finish it up well.

So, Scott Settlemire, any news for me?

ehh... looks pretty good, but if i cared more about looks than performance then id buy a stang, i'll be happy if:

RS- V6 (whatever, i dont care)
Z28- 6.0L LS2- 400hp
SS- 7.0L LS7- 500hp

And i want an option to get a solid rear... anyone who complains about this setup should be shot on sight

Looks familiar..

I've been saying that was a F-body in waiting for years... looks like I was right. Hell, if they put a "Firebird" badge on that one, and put it on the lot, I'd sign up in a heartbeat.

I guess you'll know they're right if GM's lawyers start breathing down your neck here real shortly.
