We'll see about pricing and final looks first. Then, I'll see if that will be my new daily driver. If pricing is competitive, bye bye GTP and hello Camaro. Either way, the WS6 isn't going anywhere.

I like my 69 a lot better than that new one and I think GM is a day late and a dollar short as usual. The Challenger has a lot more appeal, and I have always been a Chevy guy. I was dissappointed in the new Camaro

I have to wait and see what the GTO and Camaro end up looking like before I decide which one to buy.

I don't know when, (because I'll be buying an Avalanche before then) but I will get a new SS when it's available. But, it won't be replacing the one I have now, it'll be parked next to it.

Personally I think many of you are crazy, the Concept Camaro is the Concept look, I'm sure it will be changed quite a bit before actually production. And give Me a break, I think it looks great, Modern Camaro with Retro styling que's, It did win the Concept Award over the Challenge by the way. The Challenger is a decent looking car, but it's too plain for Me, and the "Hemi" name is just to sell the cars, it's nothing like the true Hemi that used to dominate. I'm sure Dodge will sell them, but I doubt for very long... the Camaro has a legacy, and many faithful owners. If GM redesigns some of it, gives us the power, and makes it affordable the car will be a success. I give Dodge some props on not messing it up like they did on the Charger, but I'm a Camaro guy at heart. And I will more than likely buy one within the first three years they are produced. It just better rule the streets and continue the Camaro Tradition.

It is a concept, but there's a VERY good chance that the body look will make it to production. Overall, a lot of the Mustang concept made it to production (the awesome looking engine compartment didn't make it though, sadly I doubt the Camaro's will either).

I'd buy one only if they were comparibly priced with the mustang. Base V6 stang starts just under $20k A fully loaded GT is about $27k. If GM prices the new camaro anymore than the mustang, they will just be shooting theirself in the foot and killing themself (AGAIN!) I hope they learned from their mistakes last time. If they price them right, they will sell a ton.

I'm a diehard Camaro guy and I will not be buying one, unless they look a lot better in person. They should have made them more retro like the Challenger. Personally I think the design sucks @ss, looks like a f*cking Cadillac.

The original concept drawing from several years ago, the one with the 69 swoops over the fenders, looks a ton better.

So GM should have just copied a '69 Camaro like what was done with the Challenger? GM is looking to sell units, not make a low to medium volume selling niche car. DC is only looking to sell between 30,000 and 50,000 Challengers, GM wants to sell more than 100,000 Camaros....a '69 clone isnt going to bring those numbers. And even though the Mustang is retro, lets face it, its a Mustang...its gonna sell. The next redesign could consist of smearing dog **** all over the car instead of using paint, it would still sell. While the artist's conception of a couple years back looked cool, I have doubts whether it could have been made cheaply enough and sell the numbers GM wants. It looks more like an all out custom than a production car, at least an affordable one.

GM rep I spoke with (anonymously) said that they will price it to compete with comparable Mustangs.

If what they were saying at the concept's unveiling is true, the Camaro will be about a grand more than a comperable Mustang when it hits the market. I'm cool with that.
