as much as i wuld like the camaro to come out soon it dont think its coming until summer 2008 at best. they havent decided on trims. and if the car shuld come out 2007 they wuld prolly be starting production in the forhtcoming months

my friend works at saleen here in troy, and he said he saw them making the camaro there. it was yellow ith a black stripe, and then they painted it silver. It was specifically for the movie.

My 2 cents worth: I think GM is waiting to blow people's minds with this new camaro. If you've noticed, there hasn't been a GM commercial played in the last 2-3 months. The last commercial they made, the "An American Revolution" commercial, did briefly show the Camaro in it. Me and my husband spotted it one night. Anyway, I think GM will release the camaro in 07 even though I have had a Chevrolet employee tell me it's not coming out until 09. I think it may be an 07 and a 1/2 yearmodel, but I'm sure they will have a 40th anniv. car. Anyway, I can't wait, but I'm really waiting for the new Trans Am, cause I'm sure it'll come out too.

camaro is coming out in 08 as an 09 model. read it today in one of the mags at bornes & noble. they also said that before the camaro intro ford is gonna completely redo the exterior of the mustang to hopfly steel some of the thunder from the challenger/camaro. and that ford is coming out with a new gooder 5.0 v8 capable of about 390hp na to compete with the camaro ls2.

if they make a camaro with an ls7 i swear to everything holy that i WILL have one and i WILL put a turbo in it and all that is ford and roams the earth on 4wheels will bow to me!!!

5 liters and only 390 na hp isn't gonna compete with a 6.0 400 hp motor. They better come up with something else.

Ford is going to have to do better than that. I doubt the Camaro will get the LS2 when the next engines should be out by then. Especially if the Camaro matches or betters the mustang's weight.
