Default Hard Top Vert?

Y'all,

Seeing as it is in Vogue to do hardtop verts...and said vehicles are rather good looking (if not portly). Why not a hardtop camaro? Sure none of us will buy them (except me ), but there have to be ppl that do not mind all that extra pudge with a large V8. You get the good looks of the hard top...with the wind in your hair. Hell, the G6 hardtop vert looks good and we know the camaro would look good with it. The technology is there for this to be done without costing a left nut and I am at least one buyer. So what is the consensus?

well i have to say it really depends i love the looks of a hard top but i love droping the top on a nice day. so if they can do it at a resonable price without weighing 400lb more and have good relibilty i would very possibly buy one.

I think the idea is cool, and it might draw some attention.

However for me personally, no. I'm just not a 'vert person.

I hate the look of verts...but I love the look of a hardtop vert, for a little weight penalty I would hit it.

This is why the Camaro gods made T-Tops.

why arent they making T tops anymore? i heard it was because of safety regulations. i believe ttops are completely safe. i flipped my 98 z28 and landed upside down and skidded for a while with the ttops off and i survived. sounds safe to me.

I am holding out for a convertible one. I hope it is hardtop convertible. I recently got to try out a G6 hardtop convertible and it is really the way to go.

I'd like to have a convertible Camaro.

I think a hard top would be nice but I'd buy either one.

i've driven a vert before and with the top up i thought it was ugly, and with the top down i didn't feel too manly. however it wasn't an f-body so i can't really say how i would feel in an f-body vert. either way i'd much rather have t-tops or a targa top

I'd consider a hardtop vert, though I also like the idea of a targa, which would give most of the same benefits without the added weight.

I think it would sell slowly honestly, but if you could get it why not offer it esp if they already made a safe strong test mule no reason not to make some for the public.

The 3000gt vr4 spyder pulls it off VERY nicely...They look just like a regular 3kgt. I hate how convertibles look with the top up so this is the best of both worlds!
