525 hp with 9.5 inch rims on the rear? I take it we are all going to be running DRs.

This was mostly speculation.

Some of it is information that was legitimate last year, but I’m not sure now. Things are happening very rapidly on this project and I don’t have a direct line of information.

I don’t want anyone to think I’m posting stuff I heard right from GM though.

But I did put a lot of research into this and have updated the line up.

But now I hear that two V6’s are being considered again so my third draft may be off as well.

I do think I’m very close with the prices now though. Probably with in $1000.

Read my explanation and enjoy!

Thank you, but I wouldn’t even go near saying dead on.

I’d say I’m close, but as far as customization, the 2 V6’s and the trim level names….I may not be so close.

I did this more to give people an idea of how they can option up their new Camaro with an educated guess of the line up.

I think thats retarded, having a camaro costing as much as the Vette, hell GM isn't even competing with the mustang at those prices.

I guess we'll see 2 years from now. but id say those prices need to drop to make it worth it.

i'm finding that the only people that truly want the Z28 package to be the top dog are the people on this site that own a Z28 and just want pride out of it. it doesn't make it right or historically accurate.

this information is IMO false. there is no way they can determine the final cost of the car when the parts aren't even fully developed. LS3, huh? no way they can have a final cost on an engine that isn't in production yet.
I totally agree with you choco, the SS will be top dog!

Ok let's put it this way. Let the SS be top dog and the Z/28 can be more expensive and rare. No one should be saying that the SS should be slower than the Z, but the Z should be more "special" like it used to be. Just my $.02
