newest chevy hp mag. says that there gm insiders say a possible 550 hp supercharged camaro

If it is true I'm sure dealers will charge $15000 over sticker like the GT500's so I don't really care, I won't be able to afford it.

I don't think Dealers will charge that much over sticker for that camaro. The only reason that the dealers charged that for the GT500 is because of the magical name SHELBY on the car.

Wont happen. Gm could never put out a car with 45 more hp than thier beloved 505hp Z06.

but by then, the z06 will be old news. the new 'super corvette' is supposed to make 650hp. plus it will be a lot lighter. i dont see them butting heads at all. it would be for the guy who wants to beat everyone on the street... just not by as much!

By the time the Camaro is out, the LS7 will be no more. The LS9 however will be the in the next Vette and that motor (or the detuned LS8) might just make it into the top dog Camaro.

I'd be willing to save for one. I wouldn't buy a new camaro unless it had a BIG BOY engine in it. Cuz we all know it's gonna be a hog!
So i'll save for a FI/Big HP version and have a built 12bolt waiting to go in the day i pick it up from the dealer!!

Supposed pics of the LS3 are on digitalcorvette.com 430hp. If it is true. Then 500hp wouldn't be unreasonable.

if so id also beleive theyd sell for over sticker. Down here when the zo6's came out they were going for around 90-100k. just rediculous IMO.
