So is the new camaro still going to have the 10 Bolt!? And will it have IRS?

How good is IRS strength wise? as good as 12 bolt? 9"? Dana 60? Weight?

Its all new. Similar to whats in the G8, which goes on sale in january.

Well dang thats sucks, I was hoping for a straight axle car. Im more into drag racing then road racing. I would think they would use the same one as the vette or GTO.

The vette and the GTO are both IRS.
I was hoping for a strait axle as well. Mustang has strait axle now even on the Cobra. I think its due to the platform ZETA that the Camaro is being built on that does not allow a strait axle. I am hoping that maybe an aftermarket strait axle will be avalible for the Camaro if possible.

We need something that's at least as strong as a 12 bolt. Hopefully, GM will make a stronger rear option.

I like to see Ranger make a write up on launching 5th gen. He seems to have skills with a IRS, V8, and on near stock power levels on street tires. Ive only seen his Z06 launches, but I think he could do a 5th gen.
