No mods for a year or so, because my friend and I are buying a house. But after that, probably a H/C setup or a blower of some sorts. whatever I do, its gonna be all at once.
Lowering/tint possibly.

An good IRS setup should be fine for everything short of pro drag racing.

I'll most likely buy a 2010 or 2011 depends on how long it takes me to finish my master's and how good of an intership/job I can find in between. But the day I get it I'll order CAI, full exhaust, short shifter, maybe wheels, tune, and maybe gears, 5% tint and a box of condoms cause that thing is SEXY. That is assuming that I can wait and resist the green Terminator Cobra that's sitting right down the street

I'll leave it stock for as long as I can (couple years). At least it will have true duals from the factory so I won't need to correct that again.
Won't be buying one unless I move down South after graduating in 2010 though. If I stay up North I'll be looking at some sort of 4 x 4 Chevy truck.

+1 on buying the 09 model and nice avatar btw.
I have to add one for the poll:
I would like the 6 speed auto and "actually have GM warranty it" WHEN it fails in less than 15k with "normal" use stock. ( but that won't happen either )
Surely it will be better than the 4l60-e......

Even the GTO has weak half shafts.

cowl induction hood, different wheels, TT2's maby...ported heads, 250+ duration cam 112 LSA, QA1's all around, SPEC stage 3+ clutch, pro 5.0 shifter, LT's True Duahl exhaust, Drag Radials, slotted rotors, hawks pads, Strutt tower brace, and depending on the internals from GM 150 shot...
but thats just me....

I am wanting one, so I was thinking about going ahead and getting the L92 heads, and getting them ported and polished ahead of time, and a custom grind cam. If I can get those heads, than I "will be forced" to get the new camaro. As soon as I get it, go ahead and get the heads and cam put in, and maybe a header system w/ true duals. I think it would look good with Boyd Coddington Smoothie 2's, and an X-pipe. Slap a 150 shot on it, and nothing more. I heard they were using hypereutectic pistons? But I wouldn't mind being the first in our town with one, not to mention one with an aggressive lope, and power..

full exhaust and CAI at first.
If there isn't an option for stripes, I'm driving it straight to the paint shop from the dealer to get red stripes painted on it's black body.
after it's out of warranty, I'll get heads/cam.
