Default Transformers special edition dvd
now before you lock it and ban me, lol if you watch the special edition DVD Transformers, it goes into talking about the camaro and the solstice, and shows how the doors open up on the camaro and talks a little bit more in depth its kinda like a sneak peak at whats up with it. if you haven't already you need to get this dvd if for nothing else for the fact that its like camaro sneak peaks!

sure on up to date stuff it is, but this is like visual, and they got to play with the real thing for how many months? I didn't say that is was live gonna change its just a visual look at what its going to be like

it wasnt a real camaro in the movie. it was a gto chopped up.

Yes, it was a full custom bodied replica of the concept Camaro built onto a GTO chassis. But the car didn't have the full concept interior IIRC. Sure did look sweet in yellow and black though.

I just thought it was funny how the DVD goes out of its way not to explain who built it for the movie..........Saleen, Inc.

I haven't gone through all the stuff on the 2nd disk yet, but where on the disk is this? All I saw so far is the director saying they got the car from Chevy, and they had to be extra careful not to get a scratch on it.

But also very close to what the real thing will be when it debuts. They had better offer it in the same paint scheme it wore in the film.

I haven't watched the two disc version yet, but I remember them saying that on the initial DVD release special features. That's what I'm talking about.....they didn't get that car from GM, it was a custom one-off replica built for the movie by Saleen, Inc. But no mention of Saleen's involvement was even remotely made.....not even for Barricade's background section (the Saleen S281E cop car). They spent 45 seconds explaining that they decided to make Barricade a cop car and then bam......on to the next Decepticon. Sounds like GM's deal had Bien's nuts in more of a vice than he let on about.

That's what I always thought, so the directors comments surprised me.
