It will be hitting showroom floors in the start of 2009 just as a 2010 model.

It is still being released as scheduled, but it was announced that it will just be a 2010 instead of a 2009 model.

so the new camaro will be in. late 2009... am i the only one that thinks that its a little late? in late 2009 the stang shuld be nearing a update or even a new generation

Acutally, the 2010 model will come out in early 2009. And then the vert a year later.

Production starts 4th Quarter 2008.
And they'll be in showrooms 1st Quarter 2009.
That has not changed!

The Mustang is just getting a refresh for 2009. It's still going to be on the same underpinning as it is now.

As for the Camaro I think there is a much better chance of the Camaro coming with a LS3 if it comes out when it does. Also I would rather them take the time and get it right.

It will be called a 2010 Camaro. The forum change from 2009 to 2010 Camaro is correct. It will still launch the same time as always planned from the start.
Most of the time cars are launched in the 3rd or 4th quarter of the year before what ever model year they are. The Camaro will be launched in the first quarter of 2009, but will be a 2010 year model.

I don't know how else to put it to you if you still don't understand.

All cars are like this - You don't have to wait til Jan 08 to buy an 08, they are out now and have been for awhile! It's ALWAYS been that way, I don't understand why people are having a hard time understanding this

Correct. 1st quarter is Jan Feb or March, but I expect it to be out by Jan myself.


Production is still scheduled to begin in Oct 2008 and on dealer lots by Jan Feb or March of 2009 as a 2010 model.

I think it should come out ASAP because of it being in the movie Transformers. I also think they should have hyped it more so in the advertising and in the movie but maybe they didn't because it wasn't going to come out until 09
