And yet another noob proving my point. If you don't like it, why are you even in this section of the forum?

Well I hope the car is as nice as I am hearing.

I bought a brand new Suburban in 01 (6.0 2500)
I bought my 02 Camaro Z28 brand new.
I have modified the Camaro to the point that it is practically a track car.
(but not completely)
They are both paid off. (GMAC)

My wife just got an 08 Hummer H3 Alpha. (great, great truck)

I type this to show/express that I am a "company man"

I am due for a new car....

It will either be a new Camaro or a new Vette.

I am reserving my opinion on the Camaro until I see/drive the car.

It is going to be tough for me to choose the Camaro over the Vette but, I did do it in 02.
I chose the Camaro over the Vette because I felt the Camaro was more of a "Muscle Car" than
the Vette and I like Muscle Cars more than Sports Cars. (which the Vette is)
Plus, I knew I was going to be drag racing the car at the local strip.
Plus it was the last year of the Camaro.
Plus it has 4 seats and I have children.

But Vettes have gotten so quick and the new ZR1 is over the top.
The Vette is going to be hard to resist.
(The ZR1 is not in my price range anyway)

GM had better come out with a real High Performance version of this Camaro.
Think ZL-1.

Thanks Scott.

Or I may get the new Camaro in a convertible, if they don't have a High Performance model?

Either way, I take a LOT of pride in owning my Chevrolet cars & trucks.
My Camaro still has on 5,000 original miles on it and the best of everything.

Yes, it is still a street car, but it goes to the track and the car shows in an enclosed trailer nine times out of ten.

And no, I don't work for GM.
