2009 Camaro Petition This petition states that the 2009 Camaro shoould coem with an upgradeable T-Top option

A year is not enough to finish the rest of the testing, then cut the roof off, get t-tops on and redo the testing all over again.
T-tops will hurt aerodynamics, chassis strength, cause more wind noise, and have the possibility of leaking. To top that off they might effect the crash test ratings as well.

chassis strength, crash test results and leaking i can understand, As far as wind noise i doubt thats a large factor.
For all we know they could already be doing the testing for them.
ive seen accidents for LS1s with ttops, those things are stronger than ****.
Besides this Camaro wont be available for purchase until mid 09 and the convertible in late 09, then gives them almost 2 years to do the testing. they could release the option at the same time for the convertible. well just have to wait and see.
