The interior looks great, they actually styled it this time and it looks as wild as the exterior of the car.

When has the Camaro ever gotten it's own unique stuff like steering wheel, HVAC and headunit? Generally the car has always been cobbled together with corporate parts, this time it looks like they are going all out to make it something special.

Cues like the exaggerated gauge pods, 60s script, Chevy blue light accents and classic placement of the auxillary gauges is what makes this car cool, not bad.

GM is doing this car right.

370 lb tq is not a 6 cylinder.

I am glad that this is a camaro only interior.

The interiors on all of our 4th gen FBodies were ghastly. Seriously...the TA was not better...why was the TA better...cause it had some extra plastic **** on it?

This is worlds ahead of what we are driving around in...now if they keep the weight low and the LS3 cheap!!!

I think it was a V-6 also, and rule it out because it said it has 370 ft lbs. That doesnt mean ****. How many car's have speedometer's that lie? A lot so I am going with that. I still think well will have at least a LS3 for a little while anyway but there a little late on getting this thing out. I Think it should have been out this year but what can you do?

The speed reading 160 though with 6k for the RPM's is why I thought it was a V8...who knows.

Might not be a 5.3L. GM said they were introducing a new engine in this car, and that could be it. Maybe it's a 5.5 or 5.7L. It could also be a small, six-cylinder turbodiesel. Either way, I'm cool with it because that would actually mean a true Mustang competitor and not a $32K car that no one wants to blow money on because it's only got two doors and their wife can't drive stick!

Also, you guys have got to remember that normal people wouldn't know what to do with 370lb/ft of torque in a small coupe like that, much less anything more than that. This car DOES have to be sold to the public. Besides, if ya'll want more, I'm sure your local SEMA member can help you out with that.

Really? Looks like plenty of plastic in the 5th gen as well. You won't get metal and/or wood interiors anymore, have to buy something from the early '60s or older if you want a near plastic-free interior.

They do? That's news to me. My Firebirds and T/As have never had any nicer quality interiors than my Camaros.

More photos emerged of the prototype show in this thread, it turns out it's a V6 model. It has GM's 3.6L V6 under the hood with Holden's engine cover (also seen on the G8).

More interior, you can see the driver information center between the gauge pods and the high resolution graphics it uses. No more gigantic crappy pixels from the early 80s.

]

Big rotary ***** for easy adjustment surround the HVAC buttons for other functions. Holden's door lock button is on the center stack.

Holden's flip-key (also seen on the G8).

Leather-wrapped armrest on door panel, Holden mirror adjustment and window switches.

Non-production headlamp clusters. V6 wheels covered with tape.

Have confidence in GM and Holden to deliver the best built, best-trimmed muscle car you can buy. Having seen what's in store I think a great many will be very surprised when the finished product is finally unveiled.

Damn, the V6 wheels look better than the crap wheels we've seen in the other recent pics. Hopefully the final V8 wheels will be better than both!

I'm really crossing my fingers on this car, I'd love to buy one.
