A 200 shot of nitrous is going to destroy that torque gauge

If it has the caddy cover...I am guessing it is the 304

Cool beans...so they are building a little modability in there. I wonder how a Tq gauge works?

I bet the gauge is just going to be a function of RPMs which won't change when you mod it. Hope not, but that seems to be the cost effective route GM might take.

I would buy one, but luckily im a patient guy...most of the time anyway. the interior looks good, the guages are a little out there, true....BUT GM isnt just making a muscle car only for us true enthusiasts, its also for a 16/yr guy or girl who doesnt know **** from shinola. if it looks good, has unique guages, and tons of hype...it will sell like hotcakes

but it seems they are putting a lot of R/D into this vehicle so that it will or can perform to the capabilities that we expect it to if we get the z-28 or the ss. Im sure it will out perform a stock 02 fbody...hopefully

There is no way they are designing a whole new engine for the camaro people, look for a detuned LS3 as to not upset the corvette folks.

and as for the interior... I like it. Remember this is all pre-production or almost production ready.... there will be changes.... it will look nicer. It has a V6... so this is a BASE car... expect the interior in a Z or hopefully SS to have some tweaks.

Anyone else notices the MPH is red once you reach 120 mph? I think it's a challenge to keep it in the red.

I think the Red is for the V6 not having tires rated for that ****.

No one ever said that it would be Camaro-exclusive, merely that a new one that "...no one has ever seen before..." will debut in the car. To be quite honest, I'm pretty sure that engine will go to the Pontiac G8 lineup as well as the upcoming Impala (if GM does keep it on the Zeta platform, that is.)

Also, I highly doubt that that is a BASE car. It looks more like a thrown-together test bed of many different options that probably won't find their way onto the same trim level as each other....unless GM does something cool like Scion does with their cars.

Wouldn't it be a kick if those gauges weren't functional and just there for classic looks?

It is pre production, so it's possible it's a filler for the moment. Not much to get worked up over. =P

for having a 6 in there it loosk like a tight fit so far with that engien cover on, and when you slam an 8 in there?! i wonder how much more tighter can it get?

the guages suck if you ask me not really impressed by them. also where the console is the buttons there kinda remind me of a playstation controller the D-pad.

the inside is ok i suppose overall not 2 exciting.

They have an engine cover on the thing though.

I am glad parts are made of plastic...the weight needs to be kept down.

I love the console, but hope that weight stays down!!!

The interior is looking cool. Who care's if it has a torque gauge? Maybe, its just a place holder for a boost gauge for the top-dog Camaro. :hmm:

I think they are making some serious progress I am liking everything I see thus far

For the V8 Model underrate the power output just like you did when the LS1 debuted IE (350 Corvette, 305 Camaro, Reality about 300RWHP for both)

I'll take a nicely optioned 410-425hp underrated LS3 that dynos 400-420 at the wheels, (just don't let the Vette guys know).
