The guages are down there for the retro look you can see in older model corvettes. I like 'em, personally. As to the tach and spedo, that's got to be a V6. From what I can see, it says the top speed is "100" (WHAT!?) and the tac only goes to 5 grand? (HAS to be a V6..)

Edit: Got the last couple pictures to load, and WOW that's sexy.. beats my Mustang any day.

I hope the radio has an aux port on the front for iPods. Not everything about this damn car should reflect the 1960s.

On reflection, I've seen newer shots than this, and the tac goes to 8, and the top speed is 150. (On the guage... I don't think V6 could even GO 120..)

not bad. Didn't like it at first but now it doesn't look that bad. I would wait for a V8 first thought I wouldn't mind paying the gas.

Hey, just a thought:
While everyone is enjoying those new interior shots, has anyone reflected on the fact that somebody in that garage is being awful sneaky and ballsy with that camera? LOL, can you picture some technician sneakin' in there while everyone is at lunch, to supply us drooling gearheads with our latest fix of sneak peaks? I mean, ****, couldn't his little spy operation potentially cost him his job? On behalf of LS1Tech, I'd like to publicy thank that ****** for his brave spy operation, whoever he is. And Godspeed when his Senior Tech or whatever walks in on him with that camera, LOL! Would be like gettin' walked in on with your pants around your ankles while pullin' your pud!

Detuned my ***, that's not what happened last with the last generation. Let's hope they just "underrate" em again as to not upset the old geezers.

I like the center console gauges, but the torque gauge is kinda weird. The interior looks good though. And I vote for an "underated" LS3 cause we wouldn't want to dethrone the vette and have the Camaro get the axe again.

I really like the gauges on the console. The reason is that the console gauges are one of my favorite options on the 1969 Camaro and this car is known to have incorporated a lot of that car's style. However, I don't care for the torque gauge. I wish they would do the battery, temp, fuel, and oil pressure on the console with idiot lights on the dash to catch your attention. I don't care for this torque gauge...that just seems dumb.

Anyway, here are some shots of my '69 Camaro's console for comparison.

You know, if they put in those bar shifters in for the automatics, I will personally forget the manual ever existed.
