Default Transformer's Camaro

May be stupid question but the engine in the 70's Camaro is that a real motor or just a prop for the movie.
Just wondering,
Thanks

I'm not positive so someone correct me If I'm wrong, but I believe the engine in the car is the LSX block all beefed up, the funny thing is that if you pause that scene its a fuel injected engine and she says it has a carb. aparently her dad didnt teach her everything. haha.

japanese cars had carbs too lol. hell they still put them on some of their bikes!

i dont think it would be smart for the producer to have her spout off a bunch of crap about the car that 95% of the people watching the movie have no idea what it means lol so just for that i forgive her

It's a regular SBC 350. Nothing all that special.

It pissed me off. I'm not a diehard car guy, but it wasn't even close to being what she described. However, god damn, is that girl hot or what.

Some might argue that the Harrop intake they showed when she claimed it was a double pumper is somewhat special though

I believe that what happened is the script was written assuming the engine shot would be of the motor that was actually in the older car hence the reference to the carb. Then I would assume Michael Bay decided he wanted a shot that showed a cooler looking motor, threw that shot in and was too dumb to change the lines to reflect the different motor/intake/carb.

I believe that Megan Fox is sooooo hot that they could have put a lawn mower engine in there, said it was a jet engine, and it wouldn't matter cause her fine body is the only thing that I can see in that shot!

One of the Fast n Furious 2 "Yenkos" resides in my town and we went cruising with the owner. Much to our disappointment it was only a basic 350 block. Off topic I know lol!

I don't know about street bikes, but almost all dirtbikes are still carb'd, I know my Yamaha 125 is. I believe Kawasaki was the first one to do fuel injection, and that was just last year. Rumor is the others will follow suit soon

Now all the 450's are fuel injected except for the Yamaha.
