Bob Lutz has said no firebird because Pontiac is going to be a domestic BMW.
He also said GM isn't badge engineering cars anymore. However, look at the Outlook/acadia/traverse and the Aveo/G3. Sounds like badge engineering to me.
He has also stated that GM's annual sales goal for the Camaro is 100k units.
Dunno how that is going to happen.
I also read something a few months ago (maybe autoextremist?) where there IS a faction inside pontiac that wants to do a firebird but upper management won't let it happen.
Post this same question on cz28 and all of the LT1 driving firebird haters will point out your ignorance of business . . .
The Goat will be back, only larger on idk what chassis (cts?), will be more in the mold of a Charger (size-wise).
