simple to understand. Camaro sells good and the forecast in sales appears good Pontiac will wanna throw their hat in the ring. If retro seems short lived then you probably wont see a firebird. no one will know until 2010 at the earliest.

I've heard good things about ANOTHER GTO using the Zeta platform (same as 2010 camaro).

No, but it would be disgustingly easy for them to produce a new Firebird with the new Camaro. Pontiac is pretty much dead without that car.
