Hmmm.... RS at reveal was an automatic.

Sorry if this has been posted before but I thought it was interesting because as far as I know there are no PRODUCTION pics of the interior of an automatic but if you watch this video...

...you can tell the released production RS was an automatic because the reverse lights come on briefly before they get out of the car (signifying they were putting it into park from drive).

There aren't many production pics of the SS either. Maybe there are a couple details that are unfinished still.

May be force of habbit for some drivers, especially since the C6's require to be in reverse, or the power does not turn off . . . .

But then again could be a auto.

I think only the 05 C6's do that, but I could be wrong.

I was there in person and YES it was a 6 speed manual. They put it in reverse when parking as some people recommended over 1st gear. Not to mention if you listen closely you can hear the gears of a manual trans being shifted when the reverse lights come on. You don't hear that clunking when you put an auto into park.
