Ordering 2010 Called dealer today and asked about taking orders for the new Camaro yes they are taking orders $2000.00 down and all Camaros will be sold $3000.00 over sticker. Just wondering what others out there have experienced.
Idiot dealerships. Look for another dealership, possibly out of state. Houston area Chevy dealerships generally suck anyways.
Get your deal in writing also, not just based on promises to sell at MSRP.

Although I have no basis to judge the Houston area dealerships, I don't see how anyone can sell these above MSRP when GM is having problems selling anything these days. If you look around, I'm fairly confident that you can find one at MSRP. Be thorough in your search.

I would just wait unless you are that determined to get one. I met this guy once that put a down payment on a C6 ZO6 a year before they were out. basically they just took his money and wrote him a letter saying he would get one. Had he of been patient, he could of put that money into savings or invested it (back when that was wise) and put a bigger down payment on the car.

They are going to build a ton of these cars next year. NO ONE should be paying over MSRP. As a matter of fact, I anticipate people being able to pay under invoice after a few months.

I won't sell ours over sticker because I don't agree with it. I'm a car guy who owns a dealership and if I were in their shoes I wouldn't want to get raped. Luckily I own the place so I'm getting mine at cost

Congrats on the upcoming purchase, this car is going to be HOT. 
That happens all of the time, they can take the order before pricing is announced, they just can't actually place the order until then.

I just called my Aunts Dealership in NC and nothing about over MSRP or even taken orders yet until GM says they can and a priceing is out.
