Default 2016 Camaro body die?

http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1...ed-by-body-die

This is apparently also on camaro 5 or 6... whatever it's called. If this is it, the view shows almost exactly what to expect and it does look like what we've been seeing.

Still looks like a freakin 5th gen.... It's a 3rd version of the 5th gen. It shouldn't even be called 6th gen.

Can't call it a 5th gen regardless what the exterior looks like because it has an entirely new chassis vs the 2015.

It reeks of a mashup of the newest Mustang and the 5th Gen Camaro. That's just what I see though, based on random stuff like this. The final product may be different enough to stand out, but seeing random pieces and silhouettes, I'm not impressed at this point.

Just a fat little brick like the ATS-V instead of a fat medium sized brick like the current Camaro.
What a mess.

The 2015 Z/28 is 100lbs heavier than a stock GTO.

If the 6th gen loses weight, it will be as light or lighter than your GTO. Unless you think your GTO is a fat little brick as well??

GTO in the mid 3700s, Z/28 in the mid 3800s.

Mine was 3725lbs but is shaped like a jelly bean not a brick/box. Weighs 3570lbs now.

Even more reason to call the existing V8 Camaro a porker because every nutswinger knows GM stripped the Z/28 to lose weight for track duty and it is still a fatty.

Had to look that word up on urban dictionary. Well I guess for the ghetto crowd it is bland.

I don't entirely disagree. But I wouldn't call a GTO aerodynamic or lightweight even in comparison to the 5th gen.

Further, a jelly bean shape doesn't make it have better aero over a brick shape. Also, when comparing weights, stock for stock must be compared since the ability to strip weight exists for any car.
