Default The Exorcist....

The Exorcist

We've got roughly another week before Dodge reveals its hellish Challenger Demon, but Hennessey has already produced a rival. It's called the Exorcist, and both the name and Hennessey's press release make it clear the car is designed to be the anti-Demon. That may not come across visually, since on the surface it's just a standard Camaro ZL1 with decals. But underneath is an LT4 V8 tuned to 1,000 horsepower and 966 lb-ft of torque.

Reading about what all they are doing to it for $55K in my opinion is not worth it in the least. Makes me wonder if you get to even keep all the factory stuff they are taking off of it as well. To be honest I dont see where they justify the price and it wont do very well even though it is cool as hell.

Hennessey equals a lot of PO'd customers the last few years in the Houston area. Guy I know with a H C6 takes it elsewhere for work for instance. He is close to Sealy geographically too.

I just realized that I came off as not liking JH's cars. Nothing could be further from the truth. Probably just wouldn't buy from him direct. Let someone else take the risk and depreciation initially would be more accurate.

How Hennessey is still in business I'll never know. I guess people who have money to waste just don't care how many people this guy screwed over.
