how do you turn these on when the car is off

Push the start button without the clutch pushed in for M6's or without the brake pressed for A10's.

tech gone bad

Says in the owners manual if you open the door the power is cut off. So much for an air pump. No spare tire. Whats next, factory locked hood.

If theyre on their own circuit seperate from other electrical devices in the car, you can jump constant 12v to the circuit within the fuse box. I know on my daily its as easy as moving a fuse position.

Yeah, just opened the door, sat down and pushed the start button without pressing the clutch and the accessories came on to include the power outlets.
