2018 Camaro 2ss AFM shuddering
Help, has anyone came up with a solid fix for the shuddering issues with the A8,
last TSB I read was 3 time flush at the dealer putting in a different grade transmission fluid.
does this work or is there a better fix cause I heard a lot of people having success and others have to get new torque converter.
any input to solve would be much appreciated

I work here at a dealer, Step one is flush, if that don't fix it, step 2 is replace TC, if that don't fix it I tear down the trans and replace any parts needed. we rarely see the A8 having issues beyond the flush. But there has been a few.
It's the 6L80s that we're doing 3 rebuilds a week.

I have a 2017. The flush worked for a few thousand miles and it came back. The torque convertor was then replaced. I haven't noticed it since. Luckily it was under warranty.
I thought I heard the sooner it's done after it starts to shudder the less damage to the torque convertor. Don't know if that's true.
Have about 56,000 miles on the car. Transmission seems pretty good to me.
