I took my 1LE to get base line dyno numbers last week. Made 387hp, 411tq. Really wasn't sure what it would do. I have seen dyno's from youtube. I am happy with it made, now it is time to start modding. First up will be a Roto Fab, and Flex Fuel. After that dyno to get new numbers. I already have a BTR 220 cam, and a MSD intake. I have to get a NW 103tb, and headers. It is a blast to drive now stock but can't wait to see what it feels like after. I got a A10 because I am retired Army and have had 5 operations on my left knee. Right now this is a daily and with my knee not being the best I thought an Auto was better for me.
The reality is unless you're Jeff Gordan or Tony Stewart the 10L80 will beat the **** out of the TR6060. The TR6060 is still the bomb though. I had a 19 1SS 1LE that some stupid semitruck driver totaled.
Has HPTuners broken the locked up 20+ GM transmission tuning? That would be huge. A 10R80/10L80/10L90 benefit greatly from tuning. I've been in a GEN3 Coyote/10R80 vehicle since that semi totaled my SLE, but that not being able to tune the transmission on the 20+ GM vehicles was some BS. 19 (the ugly year) was in actuality the best Camaro SS year ever from a performance standpoint with technically better airflow than other GEN6 SS cars, and a 10L80 that's tunable.
Not for sure if the A10 can be tuned or not, haven't checked on it yet. I haven't started really doing anything to the Camaro yet. I am working on my 2002 WS6 right now. Trying to finish up the new engine for it. Once I am done with it I will turn to the Camaro.
