What could I get for my clutch? $$ Wise
Out of curiosity what do you guys think would be a reasonable price to ask for my ls1 flywheel and clutch. I am thinking of going to a ls7 but the thing is this clutch is fine so far, I plan on getting a cam soon though so I wanna have a new clutch in for that. I am the 2nd owner of the car, it now has 90k miles on and im unsure if it was changed before or not. It seems to grab fine flooring it like normal and shifting like normal it will spin 2nd easy and chirp 3rd if im trying really hard though. So im not sure If I should just stick it out and wait or if I should sell my ls1 setup on here and go with a ls7 since Ill be needing that in the future anyways. What do you guys think?

who wants to buy a used clutch?
it is as much work to put in a used one as a new one.
buyer doesn't know how long a used clutch will last, 5 miles or 10,000 miles.
Not worth the hassle.

only 2 things i can see a used stock clutch being desired...
#1- returning to stock...which would involve alot of work just to swap a clutch. although if you had a new $1000 setup i suppose it'd be worth it.
#2- the stock flywheel, which would need to get resurfaced. and i can't see paying to have it shipped, then resurfaced. so it would likely be if someone was local and needed it, maybe if theirs was unuseable due to being resurfaced already.
so as stated...probably worth more as scrape steel than to a buyer.
the flywheel could make for an interesting coffee table or end table though
