The paint is LeMans Blue and the at Barrett-Jackson is the only one painted that color. Keep in mind they(GM) was selling the "rights" to own the first production ZR1. They did not sale the car that was on the block.
Chevy's upcoming supercar. the Corvette ZR1 has made quite an impression on the motoring fanatics. The impression was made larger Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the 37th Annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Event in Scottsdale, Az, when noted collector David Ressler paid $1,000,000 for the right to own serial number 1, 2009 Corvette ZR1.
Mr. Ressler raised his own bid by $100,000 to make an even $1-million donation to The United Way. Chevrolet had Jay Leno drive the car onto the auction block and Jay promoted the car and the cause heavily. The 1st Corvette will be painted in LeMans Blue, a one-off color which is not available as a RPO on any Corvette. LeMans Blue was last offered in 2007.
The car driven to the block was one of the enginnering prototypes painted in blue.

My bet is that it's diluted quite a bit before it gets sprayed on to parts. My gold wedding ring costs over $100k per gallon also, but I only use a little bit of that gallon.
