Default Which seem's to be the better deal??

So i as i continue searching for my next f-body. Looking for an Auto, just rather have that then an M6 right now....

02 LE SS Auto w/ 74K miles for $16,900. Private Seller, car is stock other then K&N Filter & V-Force Muffler?? Never heard of it. CME Exhaust (which doesnt play a factor in my purchase process, but is something i like but wont be based solely on that.

02 LE SS Auto w/ 80K miles for $15,894. Dealership, car is stock. Aslo comes with CME Exhaust.

02 LE SS Auto w/ 61,750 miles for $16,950. Private Seller, Stock Car. CME w/ QuadTip design

02 SS, Silver, Auto, Hardtop, 29K miles for $16,780. Dealership. (Im not to sure about this one, love the car. looks great and in top shape, from the pics provided but the hardtop is stopping me. idk if i want that or t-tops)

All the car's look great inside & out. Of course, the dealership one's are nicely prepped for pics but from the pics. There all in good looking shape.

Now ive come across some Z28's, but would rather have a real SS instead. There's aslo a couple more SS's w/ mods that ive come across, but there asking over $20K for them. Im not looking to spend that much. I dont care how modded it is, still not going in that price range.

All are located here in Texas, so shipping and everything isnt to big of a deal for me. Im just curious as to which do you think would be the best deal??? I know the prices are high, but there's a good chance i can get it lowered a good thousand or more atleast.

Should i let the hardtop actually stop me from getting a very nice looking SS???

Yeaa, i think for the top 3 its because there LE SS's and the last one. Im guessing cuz of the miles. Still no reason for them being that high though. Locally, there's nothing avialable. Well there's a WS6 but Convertible and i dont like Verts at all. Other's i found at a cheaper price but with higher miles then the ones listed. Idk about those, i need a good reliable daily driver car.

dont settle if you want ttops get em or an LE for that matter, it seems the silver one is the better deal due to the low miles as far as the other LE's id start with the lowest miles first and dry to wheel n deal em as much as i could. With the market you should be able to talk the dealer down a bit and id guess one of the sellers. but maybe they think theyre sitting on a gold mine cuz its the all mighty LE lol.

I would say the second on last is the best deal.Do you really want t-tops or a hardtop?

I rarely took the t-tops off my z28 but at the same time. I liked having that option there. So im just trying to decide if i really want them, or not. I am kinda leaning towards the LE from the dealership though.

figure out what you are paying with..loan? or cash...MONEY talks ...and can give a lot of leeway..are any of them carfax certafied? hyave you been up underneath any of them? just some things i would look into....and i love my t tops but with a hard top you dont need SFC....so less $$ for mods..imo

Theyre all very high priced IMO. Even if they got leather interiors. The only one thats close to reasonable is the 29k mile one, but its a hardtop. I can understand that you are willing to spend a lil extra & get a nice one & I am sure they are all very nice cars. But 16-17K for a mostly stock 70-80k mile car? If I wanted t tops, I sure wouldnt buy a hardtop car. Then again, the 02 SS LEs were the last ones so they usually go for more. I would try & get the price down some a few Gs.

I have owned 13 4th Generation F-Bodies. I purchased one of them brand new. Let me tell you i wouldn't pay over 10k for any F-Body at this point. If you spend that kind of money put 5k or less more with that 16k and buy a C5 Z06

Well ive got about $6,500 left over from my totaled Z28. Ill be getting a loan, but ill be putting down about $2,500. The 02 LE SS at the dealership just dropped the price $1000 as a discount for finding it on the internet. They told us, the car was a 1 owner. Garaged kept, very well maintained. Nice & clean car. So now were just trying to see what kind of deal we can get with them. Im hoping atleast another thousand dollars i can get it dropped and i would be happy with that. I got my 02 Z28 w/ 34k miles for $16, 2 yrs ago but then again. Insurance gave me $15,500 for my totaled z28 w/ 72k miles. So idk...
