How the hell could you choose a cobalt over a Coobra?

I am not into cobalts. Even with a turbo. Besides the Cobra was cheap found a guy who was hurting for cash in this economy picked it up for 13k. Cant buy a new cobalt for 13k.

Agreed. I had a regular cobalt rental car and it was PAIN. Bt the new SS looks to be a hilarious little plaything. No lift shift

yea i know alot of people would say "ohh well its a ford" naw its not like that. its funny how the cobra's use the PBR braking system that was used on the C4 corvette but in the end i wouldn't mind having one for 13k but IMO cobalt or a GTO if were talking 20-30k

well my good buddy has one, he had race seats in his i dont know if its different or not, but my feet were pretty close to the pedals and i still found myself leaning forward to put it into first gear. the transmission feels good only cuz its a T56 but i just thought the position was weird, and if u dont have a short shifter i can see people crushing there fingers on the 2nd-3rd shift, your fingers would get caught between the council around the radio, ouch!

13k wow nice deal james you may as well stole it from him, since normally cobra go for 20K plus maybe you can use the 7k you saved from that awsome deal and get a hellion turbo kit

Wouldnt be my choice , but congrats.. Hope you bought a warranty... Because unlike a lsx , If you blow the motor its probably cost about 3/8 the price of the car ..

Yes, it is my opinion, but I just don't see how ANYONE can choose a Cobalt SS over a 03/04 Cobra. I bet Cobalts are fun to drive, but I would NEVER spend $ to buy one. I would take an Evo 8 over a Cobalt (I think Evo's look a lot better than Cobalts).
