Default 5.3 and 6.0's

I got a 94 k1500 silverado 4x4, its a got tpi 350 with 210,000 miles! i just ordered a 6inch suspension lift for it! Its getting repainted black again soon and im doing alot of work to it! I was wondering where is the cheapest place to get used 5.3 or 6.0 longblock motors from?

Are you going to post pictures of your swap? BTW, check with BRP hotrods on here, they are a sponser. Also, check with your local junkyard. I have a 93 ext cab Z that would love to here about your swap but I am only at 170k!

I plan on doing the same swap to my 94 yukon gt. What trans are you going to run, and are you going to do your own wiring or buy a plug and play kit?

Get the 6.0 You will need the extra torque to get it moving. Trust me on this

You will need more gear too or it will be a dog. 4.56 or 5.13 depending on 35's or 37's
Have fun with it and do a solid axle front swap if you can swing it. Stronger, more articulation and you can run a locker with that diff.

Sorry, I forgot for a minute this is not a 4X4 forum

You should be able to buy a good used 6.0 + harness and computer from your local parts yard.
