Default Lt1 to ls1 brakes

I did a search and did not find what I was looking for. I swapped my stock single piston calipers from my 96 Camaro out with a set of 2002 SS dual piston calipers. Are the master cylinder the same. Or do I need to get a new master. The only reason I am asking is that the pedal is a little weak. Some one said that since I went to a 2 pistons and a biggewr sweep area that is normal. Any input.

Bleed them more, the Master Cylinder that is on the car will work fine. I did the Swap as well a long time ago, and mine work great.
