Anyone ever trade parts. Anyone ever trade parts. I have someone who wants to trade heads with me (mine for his). Has anyone ever done this and how have you done it to protect yourself from getting ripped off.

It depends.What are you trading him and what is he giving you.There could be problems w/ his heads.I would have them checked out @ a machine shop unless you have seen the car run w/ them.

ya you need to find out what your trading for and if there good it doesnt cost m uch to have them pressure checked and a valve job done to see if everything is good on them

Definately have a machine shop check the heads you are trading for so you know what you are getting into. Have the person wanting to trade with you pay for it, if they are not willing then there may be problems with the heads.
