prc 5.3 2.5's, driver mod is key to the story without being there.

excuse my ignorance but i thought gears were only worth a few tenths in the quarter?

Factor in the cost of shipping, plus filling the bottle, and you've got up to 150 extra hp on tap for $400 tops

I blew the doors off a Terminator w/ a little bit of nitrous accompanied by a few other goodies The look on the guys face was priceless.

thats what im thinking....he aint stock....seems termits get power easly but kinda top of at 500ish hp. a guy that showed up at a local open house was talkin all this junk bout his cobra that had 590 somewhat rwhp and 630 someshit on race gas with a ported blower, cams, pullies, and full bolt-ons. they were def on this car, it was not to bad of a car. BUT the owner of the shop threw him on the dyno, he madelike 513rwhp nice but you should of see the look on his face after the dyno...

Get some heads and put some 4.10 gears and show him your front before the race. He won't see it again

gears/underdrive pulley, tuning, nice set of heads.....that should put it 2 shame.... remember birds eat snakes... goodluck

A good set of heads, ported FAST and a 100 shot should do it. Get over it, N20 is very safe these days.

My 03 Cobra (2.8 KB/solid axle/boltons) would walk my H/C/150 shot 99 SS. Good luck.

with the TV3 i would raise compression to 11.1 which will help that cam out greatly, your probably down on power since you didnt up the compression. the PRC 2.5 5.3s are a great set of heads for teh Tv3, if you can afford it a fast 90/92, i would run 430s for gears and driver mod. if you dont have one then pic one up [SLP UDP] have tuner give you an aggressive tune.

race the Snake again and see if how you fair...also when racing never lift off the throttle when shifting

if he's got exhaust, that's why you lost. headers is a good mod for them. I'd put money he's got an intake too. If it's a good one then he picked up alot of HP there as well. they love bolt on's. My buddy has an '03 Cobra with Intake, xpipe and magnaflow mufflers and he's not pullied yet but is dropping a couple sizes over the winter he says and a tune. I've gotta get a couple mods this winter and then deal with him and i have mods in sig. Even i'm curious to see how i do

To the OP, I would just give up. You'll spend too much trying to beat him if thats all you care about. If you want to just be faster in general, a nice blower set up is sure to leave him far behind.
