I'm personally not a fan of any convertible with the top up, at least not one I've ever seen. Top down there are a few that I could see myself cruisin in, but I'd never drive a convertible in the rain because I couldn't stand knowing that the car looked like that with the top up. Just my opinion.

Why? Virtually every type of car has a convertible version.

Sports cars, Exotics, Hyper cars.


Lamborghinis, Ferrari's, Pagani's...all much higher performing cars than ours have convertible versions.

First gen Camaros, Mustangs, etc also were offered in convertible versions.

I agree with OP. But I don't like soft tops on pretty much any car. Looks great down, hideous up. Just my personal opinion not that convertibles aren't nice cars, definitely fun to drive in the warm months though.

I honestly hate vert camaros with a passion, but there is a black z28 with a black top and it looks really kickass... I would take it over a hard top any day.

When I was looking for my car at this time last year I thought verts were ugly, but over time, they have grown on me. I think the combination between red,silver, and black are just dead sexy, just look below for proof.

To me convertIbles should be left to chrystler sebrings and VW bettles. American muscle, to me, big engines v8 no top down. Thats just my thoughts.
