Default Standing mile

I'm curious......

How fast will a bolt-on LS1 F-body go in the standing mile? Tanner Foust was at the Texas Mile running some cars on "Supercars Exposed" and I was wondering what my car would do.

That's a great question -- it would be a TON of fun getting you an answer, however the traffic in Atlanta makes that a real challenge.

Perhaps I can pull it off on my next trip to rural NC.

I bet very fast. There is no way to do it anymore in about 95% of highways though, just too many cops.

It would be very cool though. There awesome stra8 highways by where I live, but popos are lurking every where.

("It's USA Vs. The World, In An All-Out Performance Test Of Nine Rubber-Burning Supercars")

(American Muscle: Chevrolet Corvette Z06 - 385 hp, Dodge Viper GTS ACR - 460 hp, Ford SVT Cobra R - 385 hp, Pontiac Trans Am Firehawk - 335 hp, Shelby Series 1 Supercharged - 450 hp; European Power: BMW Z8 - 394 hp, Ferrari 360 Modena - 395 hp, Porsche 911 Turbo - 415 hp, Qvale Mangusta - 320 hp)

The Firehawk came in second from last in everything except it came in 6th in braking, 33.74 seconds @ 145mph in the standing mile like JD AMG said above, 13.36 @106.62 in the 1/4, and the ZO6 came in 1st in braking, 3rd, 4th or 5th in everything else and ran a 12.59 @112 and 31.32 @ 160.73. Firebird was the cheapest vehicle and ZO6 was the second cheapest. That should sum it up for ya
