02 T/A 984

currently have a 02 T/A M6...torquer v.3 cam...pacesetter lts...tsp ory.....slp lid....im deciding next to either add a set of heads.....or a 12 bolt/4.11 gears.....which should i do first

i would go with gears and the rear end because if you try to launch on a stock rear setup esp after mods your only asking for trouble and if you are going to do both anyway then it doesnt matter lol just my .02

i've heard that u put 4:11 gears on a manual tranny its a bad idea cause ur going to be running on high rpms when ur cruisin

get a rear end... if you blow your rear, your not going anywhere. heads... eh you can wait till spring/summer no need for hp in the winter.

WRONG. I can still cruise at 70 mph running 2200 RPM with that nice 6th gear. Plus 4.11's make that 2nd gear hit twice as hard.

To the OP, I would do your differential first, then a good clutch. After that go for HP, and you will know your driveline is up to the task.

you have it mixed up... when 410s are in an A4.. your cruise at high rpms when going fast.. at 40-50mph its not that high at all..
