Default 2010 camaro spotted in detroit area

Was heading home from christmas shopping tonight on M-59 near I-75. At first I thought it was a challenger as passed by but it was a new red camaro with manufacturers plates. So I had to run it down & get a better look. Couldnt find any RS or SS badging, no rear spoiler. Maybe its debadged for a reason. First one I spotted other than in magazines. Looked pretty sweet, but I dont care for the taillights. 69 or 70 camaro taillights would look better on it.

Man, if GM goes under and they never get to mass produce the new Camaro... the ones out there that are built are going to be worth tons of money.

I've seen a black one with SS badges and manufacturer plates in the Shelby-Macomb twp area three times now. Car looks SICK, the pictures don't do it justice. My buddy talked to the guy when he was putting air in his tires at the gas station, and he said GM has three of them on the road right now. He also had a blue Zr1 a couple months back and he said he likes the Camaro better.

No, prolly couldve gave it a good run, was driving the GTP. The day started out nice, but the weather got nasty, couldnt keep the windshield clean, prolly went through a gallon of washer solvent that night. Wouldve never been out in that weather with it, but got caught up in it. It was too dark & raining too hard when I saw the camaro.

Flintwrench, do you ever see a red '70 Boss Mustang running around the Mt Morris area? My uncle lives up that way....it looks like its been restored to factory condition, but its packing a seriously worked 460.

My parents are from the Flint area, so I try to get back there a few times a year. We used to take the Turbo Buick drag racing on the street along that old abandoned GM plant near downtown Flint. Do they still pull big crowds out there or did they shut it down? I remember seeing 150-200 cars out there some nights.

The Mustang doesnt ring a bell, dont recall seeing it. The car I noticed & seen a lot in Mt Morris is a sweet early 70s Duster. Its red & looks to be restored, prolly a 340 car. It is a super clean ride. I will look for the Rustang, lol next summer though. I know they have raced on St John St in the past. Thats the one by the plant by Stewart & I-475. I dont think much happens there anymore. I hear they race further down on I-475 now. They have gatherings at different places like I met up with them at Speedway gas station on Dort Hwy back in August. Then a few 9 sec. cars got on I-475 & raced. Couldnt tell who won though.
