Im not sure what to do.... I dont wanna blow my motor with boost.

if i was to get the STS i would probably run around 5 psi on stock motor with rods, springs, fuel pump, injectors.... would this be safe?

The only reason i am considering the STS is so that i will have the option to buy h/c to run more boost later on to make more power...

I dont want to buy H/C now and have to turn around and buy F/I and then a different H/C later on down the road...

But the car will only see the track 2-3 times a year and i drive it everyday during the summer do you think ill be satisfied with the power from the mods in my sig (I have everything except H/C left to purchase)....

This stock LS1 seems so slow!!!!! lol

I would wait on deciding if you wanna go h/c or turbo until after you have put your other mods on. If I had to choose between the two though, I would go with a turbo simply because mine is my dd and with a turbo you can still keep decent mpgs. Not to mention, a turbo blow-off from an ls1 is rather intimidating.

Do the bolt onts first and then go from there. Eventually I want to go with a new setup involving a procharger so thats what I would go with but in the end its up to you.

I say go with a H/C cause a STS set up makes your car sound but that's just me. With the turbo in the rear basically taking the spot of the muffler it just don't sound good ( I've rode in a Fbody that had that setup ). So with that said I would go with a Procharger if you wanna go FI, But a cam sounds damn GOOD!!!

i said other, heads and cam and then sts turbo this way if you really want to go forced induction you have a chance to go through the motor and change things out that work beter for FI setups also if you do want to do both then make sure you pick the right h/c for FI

i say heads and cam, the only sts fbody ive ever run up against was running 7 pounds of boost and had a small cam and only put 420 to the wheels. To give you an idea my cam and LT's 98 ta put 388rwhp, and my current procharged and bolt on's car made 488 rwhp. Hope this helps

H/C, bolt ons, stall, trans and SPRAY!! It should get you into the 10s with the right combo.

No doubt, and a built rear end as well. Maybe a suspension mod or two just for good measure.

Id go H/C, if you were to go turbo id get the APS twin kit and not waste time on the STS.

Man, if you do all that, you should be in the 10s. That's the idea anyway.

i say save for aps twin turbo. ive seen them used (or just not installed) before. get good mpg and have an awesome setup. cam will be bad gas mileage and sts lacks in potential, esp the single turbo fbody kits. twin vette ones are better but i dont think they will go in ours.

Where are you finding a center section for $250?

I would lean more towards a good H/C setup and maybe find a used FAST intake instead of a used LS6 intake.
