How many miles before it not safe to mod I have a daily driven TA WS6 that make 420 to the wheels when the combo was put together. The car had 40,000 miles then. The car now has 135,000 miles of interstate on it. Last night we pulled it on the dyno and it made 413hp and 398 ft torque. Compression was good with in 10 percent of each cylinder. I want to add a fresh set of 918 springs and a weiland intake. Will this motor stand the addition of the intake with these many miles or start a fresh build. She still runs strong and dont use any oil!

I say it's time for nitrous. But seriously if you say the motor is healthy there is no reason to be worried about modding it. My motor uses a bit of oil and its lust over 100k, Im going to be putting heads and a cam in it this spring.
