no you will slide them up under them by rotating the cam and having it lift them while you slide the wood up under it..
once it is under all of them, take the cam out and put the other one in.

same thing that the tool does..

This is how the tool works, but instead of a tool you just use a long skinny rod. Which is really all the tool is, but with a handle on the end.

i would try the wood dowels before the magnets. i have heard a few too many horror stories of the magnet falling or breaking off the end of the extendable pen and then you either have to tear down anyways, or try to fish a tiny magnet stuck to a metal lifter out!

I used the wooden dowels, but the metal ones will work fine for you. Good luck.

The only reason I would not use wooden dowels is because of "FOD" Foreign object damage. Wood will leave some sort of debris behind, and if you think that stuff doesn't happen? It does.

Buy the proper tool, then after you are done with it, rent it out. Charge people how much you paid for it plus rental fees. Once they ship it back then keep the rental fee, and send the rest back via PayPal. Kinda help each other out.

Just a thought.
