Let's see:

Left for Fort Riley (CST) in Oct 07 w/movement to Afghanistan in Dec. Got back from Afghanistan ONE YEAR later in Dec 08. I'm stationed in North Dakota; car is frozen in my garage which is blocked by 3 and a half feet of solid ice and snow----this harsh winter will be here until May, which is ironically when I PCS to Spangdahlem Germany.

WHEN AM I EVER GOING TO DRIVE MY CAMARO?

hahahahah.

I agree with this being a harsh winter, its been bitter cold and below zero alot. I live in wisconsin so i should be use to it, but i dont think anyone gets use to the extreme cold haha. The last couple of days have been really nice. sunny and 40-50's. Today it was mid 50's and sunny. So i couldnt resist. I went out to the garage and put the battery in and just pulled her out infront of the garage and let her run for a while. I wont drive it, since its never seen a winter in its entire life, but it was nice being able to let it run and hear it haha. Its been gone since october, so im very ready for spring.

I just know this is a tease though, the cold will be back with snow for atleast another month...ugh

couldnt help myself...full wash wax and detail yesterday and today... plus 20 miles. Tops off. Little cold, but hey nothing wrong with Tops off windows down... heat up. Until i realized my alternator was taking a ****, my coolant line by the intake manifold was pissing, and my PS fluid was low. :-( Oh well... nothing wrong with workin in 45 degree weather on the street. Unless you like feeling in your hands and toes.
